An EXTREME Metal band from Belarus ! It's uncommun ! At the beginning they play Funny Punk in Belarus lyrics but they become more agressive and european by playing Goregrind in english lyrics ! Let's speak with Snoopy (drums) and Cutclass (guitar + backing vocals) nad let learn what the STICKOXYDAL would to be in future...

1. Hi, I hope you’re fine, could you describe your band (date of creation, band member….) ?
- Hi, we are fine , thanks ! We are Stickoxydal, band from Belarus, appeared in summer 2003. Band members : CUTLASS - guitar/back vocal, SNOOPY – drums, NICOTINE – bass, CARNO – vocals. In the beginning we decided to play funny crust/punk/grindcore. In 2004 band changed the style and began to play goregrind. In this style we are playing now. 2. Could you list all your releases and future plan (releases -with dates-, gigs…..) ?
- 2004 – « Pro Narcosi » - demo which includes 13 tracks in belarusian language and cover-song Laboro por Zorhof by Pichismo. Demo style: funny crust/punk/grindcore. D.I.Y. released.2004 – « Skozhanae stanovishcha vantrobau » - demo which includes 15 tracks in belarusian languge and cover-songs by Offspring & Tu Carne. Demo style: grindcore. D.I.Y. released.2005 – « The Perverted Position Of Interiors » - firs full CD which includes 14 tracks in english. CD style: goregrind. Bizarre Leprous Prods released.2006 – « Chainsaw Cesarean Section » - MCD which includes 6 tracks in english and live mix-cover-song on 2 songs by CBT & 2 songs by Squash Bowels. MCD also includes live video. MCD style: goregrind. D.I.Y. released.Now we think that the last one is the best one. Our two first demos were a kind of first attempts in this style. We experimented with musics and tried to find ourselfs in this stile. And two last ones are the results of all our attempts, they are completely like we wanted them to be.
3. What are your future plans (gig, new release, .....) ?
- Band is planning to release second full CD on Bizarre Leprous Prods. We are going to play on Obscene fest, BLP+Antitrend fest and may be some others.
4. Could you define your own kind of music you play and your main influences when you write a new track ?
- Our music based on grindcore. But stuffs we have at the end people define as gore-grind-death.The main thing is that we like what we do and people like it too. When we write a new track we aspire to do it more brutal, sick and extremal.
5. Are you satisfied about the actual situation of your band throught the Underground Metal Scene ; do you expect to be sign by a big record label ?
- At present time our band only started to enter the wide Underground Metal Scene. And we are satisfied with this fact.We don’t know now what will happen in future. Today we are not expecting a big record label to sign us,but it can happen one day.
6. What kind of stuffs you dislike (music, mankind personnality, governement....) ?
- There are many things in our life we dislike. It is a topic of a separate conversation.
7. What do you think about the International underground Extreme Metal scene (actually, future…) ?
- Actual International underground Extreme Metal scene is developed prety good now, not as it is in Belarus. But today it covers only Western countries. We hope that in future situation will change better and more countries will be covered.
8. Which band you recommended for a new fan would discover this Metal scene ?
- Cerebral Turbulency, Ahumado Granujo, CBT, Disgorge, Mincing Fury And Guttural Clamour Of Queer Decay, LDOH, Squash Bowels, Dead Infection, Nyctophobic, Pigsty, Rompeprop, Sanitys Dawn, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition, Agathocles, Unholy Grave, Utopia end many–many more…
9. What do you think about the media throught the underground scene (paper magazine, webzine, distribution...) ?
- It makes underground scene more vital and wide. Media is an important component of underground scene. In Belarus metal media is not wide spread, so it is dificult for underground metal scene to develope without media support.
10. It’s up to you, write what you want about anything ?
- Big thanks. Supported life in the undergraund! Undergraund always will be higher then politicals and nationals differences and borders! GRIND ON !!!!!
